Ebun Francis || The resignation of the acting director general of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Yetunde Oni has been approved by the federal government.
The resignation of the embattled NAFDAC DG was approved by a Permanent Secretary in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
All has not been well in the regulatory agency of recent as the workers last week began embarked on an indefinite strike to demand the removal of the DG among other things.
The last may not have been heard about Oni as sources within the ministry of health said she is lobbying hard to become the substantive DG with the support of some highly placed officials in the ministry.
