Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Wednesday confirmed 111 new cases of #COVID19 in the country bringing the country’s virus burden to 57,724.
In a statement via its verified Twitter handle, the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control said the new infections were reported in 12 states in the country.
According to the health agency, Lagos recorded 31 new cases, followed by Gombe -18, Kaduna-18, and FCT-15.
Other states that reported new cases include, Rivers-14, Imo-3, Kwara-3, Oyo-3,
Bayelsa-2, Ogun-2, Edo-1and Osun-1.
The NCDC further confirmed that 48,985 persons have recovered from the disease, with 1,102 deaths.
