Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Tuesday confirmed 118 new cases of #COVID19.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control which made the disclosure in a statement via its verified Twitter handle, said the new cases were recorded in 14 states of the country with Lagos recording 41 new cases, followed by Rivers -19, and Osun-17.
Other states with new infections include, Nasarawa-13, Kaduna-5, Anambra-5, Edo-3
Ogun-3, Kwara-3, Ondo-3, Katsina-2, Niger-2,
Plateau-1, and Akwa Ibom-1.
According to the health agency, Nigeria has so far, recorded 59,583 confirmed cases of the virus with 51, 308 recoveries and 1,113 deaths.
