Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Friday confirmed 156 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s toll 64, 884.
In a statement via its verified Twitter handle late on Friday night, the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control also noted that 60, 936 persons have recovered from the disease with 1,163 fatalities recorded.
According to the health agency, the new infections were recorded in eleven states and the FCT with Lagos leading with 70 new cases, followed by FCT with -22.
Other states with new infections include, Kaduna-18, Rivers-15, Plateau-11, Ogun-10, Bauchi-3, Katsina-3
Kano-2, Ekiti-1, and Osun-1.
