Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Sunday confirmed 82 new #COVID19 cases bringing the country’s toll 67,412.
In a statement via its verified Twitter handle, the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control said the new infections were recorded in eleven states and the FCT, with Lagos recording 48 new cases, followed by Rivers-8, and Kwara-6.
Other states with new cases include, Yobe-6, Katsina-5, FCT-3,
Nasarawa-2, Plateau-1, Ogun-1, Kano-1, and Osun-1.
The NCDC further noted that so far, the country has discharged 63,055 persons infected by the virus with 1,173 deaths recorded.
