Ebun Francis || Nigeria Super Eagles were on Friday for the fifth time drawn in the same group as Argentina for the 2018 World Cup.
Both countries were drawn in Group D with Croatia and Iceland.
Nigeria first met Argentina at its first ever FIFA World Cup appearance in 1994 and in 1998, 2002 and 2014.
Friday’s FIFA World Cup draws was moderated by Gary Lineker and Maria Komandnaya.
Football icons that took in the draw are Pele, Diego Maradona, Gordon Banks, Austin Okocha, Peter Schmeichel, Carlos Puyol, Kanu Nwankwo, Ronaldo de Lima, Cafu, Laurent Blanc, and Ronaldinho.
Next year’s FIFA world cup will take place in Russia from June 14- July 13.
