Ebun Francis| Agboola Ajayi, Ondo state deputy governor, on Sunday resigned his membership from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and pitched tent with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ajayi resigned his membership of the APC at his country home in Kiribo, Ward 2, Apoi, in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state.
This deputy governor’s resignation came hours after he was allegedly prevented from moving out of the Government House in Akure, by the state commissioner of police, Bolaji Salami.
Ajayi who picked up his membership card of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at his ward shortly after his resignation, told his supporters he is happy to be back to the PDP.
