Ondo Poll: Akeredolu leads with over 84,000 votes in 12 LGAs

Ebun Francis| With results of 12 local government areas so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), is leading his opponents with over 84,011 votes in Saturday’s Ondo State governorship poll.

According to the results, Akeredolu has polled 189,489 votes while Eyitayo Jegede, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Agbola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) are trailing with 108,195, and 37,806 votes respectively.

Results from six local government areas are being awaited.
