The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, met with Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai on Tuesday.
The meeting, held at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House in Kaduna was attended by top cabinet members of the state and top RCCG officials.
The meeting came five days after Adeboye announced the release of eight members of his church kidnapped in Kaduna earlier in March near Doka along the Kachia-Kafanchan Road, on their way to a programme by suspected bandits.
“Today I got the exciting news that our brethren who were in captivity of kidnappers have all been released and taken to the Hospital for checkup and tests,” Adeboye tweeted on March 27.
