The Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele has received the 2017 Forbes Best of Africa Innovative Banking Award.

He was given the award on Friday by the President of Forbes Customs Emerging Markets, Mr. Mark Furlong at a dinner held at the Willard Intercontinental, Washington.

The ceremony took place on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which was also attended by Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun.
