Chidi Samuel || President Muhammadu Buhari has apologised to the leadership of the National Assembly over rows they had with security personnel at Aso Rock earlier on Thursday.
The leadership of the national assembly lead by Senate President Saraki and Speaker Dogara were at the villa earlier in the day for a meeting with the President Buhari but left in anger when security guards at the villa insisted on conducting body check on them.
However, President Buhari later reached out to the leadership of the national assembly but only Bukola Saraki, the Speaker Dogara, and some members made the return visit to the villa.
The President in the company of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo apologised to the lawmakers and directed the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari to make sure that such embarrassing situation is not repeated.
At the end of the meeting Senate President, Bukola Saraki confirmed to newsmen that the issue has been resolved.
