I was shocked at the state we met President Buhari- Okorocha

Imo State Governor and Chairman of APC’s Governor’s forum on Tuesday refuted the false rumour and speculations over President Buhari’s state of health, stating that he was pleasantly shocked at the state of health of the President given all that was said and written about him by Political detractors.

The Imo state Governor who was one of the APC leaders that met with ailing President Buhari on Sunday made the disclosure in an interview with Channels Television.

Okorocha said, “Before I left Nigeria, there was a lot of speculations that the president is on life support, coming from different angles and this left most Nigerians confused.

“To my greatest shock, I arrived London with the party chairman, Governor of Kaduna, Kogi, Nassarawa, minister of transport and we saw a man that was full of humour as usual and I was wondering where people were getting what they are talking about.”

“He is not even in the hospital,” he added.

“I was thinking I was going to see him in the hospital, but he was just at home relaxing and I think the doctors must have insisted that he get some rest.

“When I made inquiries on why he is not yet back home, all I get was that He is just taking some vitamins to increase his appetite.

“He is in good spirit and I think the prayers of Nigerians have worked to a great extent and he is coming back in full force.”

“Nigerians should be talking about what would be his next line of action when he returns and what we are to expect when he arrives,” he said.

Apart from the recent trip by Mr. Okorocha and other APC leaders, the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, also recently visited Mr. Buhari in London

Also, six other governors from the ruling APC and opposition PDP are expected to meet with President Buhari on Wednesday.
