Sokoto state information commissioner defects to APC from PDP

The commissioner for information, Sokoto state, Barrister Bello Goronyo, on Tuesday defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Goronyo announced his defection at the APC Governorship rally in Wamakko local government area same time when the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was holding a mega rally at the hometown of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

Goronyo who is believed to have a sour relationship with PDP leaders in the state said he rejoined his former party because it has all it takes to move the state forward.
