The President who made the plea in his official Twitter handle@Mbuhari, told his supporters to see his victory as a “reward” for their efforts.
The tweet read,“I would like to make a special appeal to my supporters not to gloat or humiliate the opposition. Victory is enough reward for your efforts.”
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) early on Wednesday declared President Muhammadu Buhari the winner of the 2019 presidential election.
