Tinubu confers national honours on D’Tigress, gives them $100,000 each

President Bola Tinubu on Monday conferred national honours on all members of the D’Tigress for winning the 2025 Women’s Afrobasket.

Tinubu also pledged $100,000 to each of the players and $50,000 to members of the technical crew.

The gesture comes days after the President similarly rewarded members of the Super Falcons team for winning the WAFCON tournament in Morocco recently.
