Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Saturday reported 189 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s case load to 56, 145.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), the new cases are in 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The health agency noted that Lagos recorded 70 cases, Plateau -37, the FCT, -24, Kaduna -19, Rivers -12; Oyo -5, Ogun -4, Ebonyi, Katsina, Ondo and Osun have 3 cases each, Imo and Yobe -2 cases each, while Ekiti and Nasarawa recorded 1 case each.
The NCDC also confirmed that so far, 48,431 patients havr recovered, with 1,095 fatalities.
