Adeboye: God has not revealed who will win 2023 presidential election

Our reporter/ The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Friday night said that God has not spoken concerning who will win the February 25 presidential election in Nigeria.

Adeboye made the declaration while preaching at the church’s first Holy Ghost service for the year at the redemption camp along Lagos-Ibadan expressway themed, ‘Wonderful’.

The revered cleric told the congregation to disregard any prophecy on the forth coming election as God has not spoken concerning the outcome.

According to him, anybody who claims to have heard from God concerning who will win the election is lying. Such a person is a false prophet and should be ignored.

“Many of my children have come to me to say I have not spoken concerning the outcome of the election, and I tell yes, because God has not spoken to me concerning the election. I don’t know why he is keeping quiet, maybe, there is a reason for that”, Pastor Adeboye said.

“Get your pvc ready. If God doesn’t say anything before the election, then vote as the spirit directs you. If he tells me, I may, or may not, decide to tell you.

The respected clergy had earlier in his sermon expressed concern over the fate of thousands of youths being hired by politicians to attend campaign rallies across the country at the end of the election cycle.
