FBN Holdings Plc has for the second year running won the 2020 award for best corporate governance in Nigeria.
The award was organised by World Finance, a quarterly print and online magazine that provides coverage and analysis of the financial industry, international business and the global economy.
According to the organisers, the award is in its thirteenth year, and celebrates companies in the areas of corporate governance, innovation, and market leadership in the financial services sector across the world.
The choice of FBN for the award was informed by“its strong corporate governance practices and outstanding leadership in the Nigerian financial services industry”.
The group managing director of FBNHoldings, UK Eke, in response to the decision of the award oorganisers to honour FBN for the second year running said the feat demostrates not only the strenght of the group’s corporate governance but also its resilence.
