Armed herdsmen invade Catholic seminary in Taraba, many injured

Suspected herdsmen on Monday invaded a Catholic seminary in Jalingo, Taraba state, shooting a priest, injuring others and many students.

Evaristus Bassey, The director of Caritas Nigeria, an agency of the Catholic Church, Evaristus Bassey, confirmed the development to Newsmen.

According to him, those injured during the attack have been admitted to the Federal Medical Centre in the state for treatment.

Taraba state police command spokesman, David Misal have also confirmed the attack to newsmen but pleaded for time for details.
