Arotile, Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot, buried in Abuja

The burial of Nigeria’s first female helicopter combat pilot, Tolutope Arotile, who died from injuries she sustained following a freak raod accident at NAF base Kaduna, is ongiong at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.

The late Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot died on July 14 in Kaduna, and she is being buried in strict compliance with COVID-19 guidelines.

Arotile died after she was reportedly hit by a former secondary school classmate who, in the process of reversing his car to give her a lift knocked her down.
