Police impose 3-day curfew in Bayelsa

The Police in Bayelsa State have imposed three-day dusk to dawn curfew after violence allegedly spearheaded by supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This was announced by the Commissioner of Police in the state, Uche Anozia, on Friday.

Recall that the Supreme Court had nullified the election of Mr. David Lyon of the APC less than 34 hours to his inauguration.

The apex court went ahead and declared Mr. Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as winner and subsequently presented him with certificate of rteturn.
