President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday attended the Juma’at prayers with other Muslims inside Aso rock mosque.
The President’s appearance at the mosque was his first public in the last two weeks.
President Buhari was joined at Friday’s prayers by top government officials including Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and Abubakar Malami, the Attorney General of the Federation.

There have been speculations over the state of the President’s health following his prolonged absence from Public activities but yesterday he met with the Governor of Nigeria’s central Bank, Godwin Emefiele. This followed earlier meetings with the Group Managing Director of NNPC and the Attorney General of the federation earlier in the week.
The first lady and wife of the President, Aisha also issued a public statement to state that her husband’s health is not as bad as being reported in the media.
