The Presidency on Tuesday said that if the Presidential election were to hold again today, President Muhammadu Buhari, just like he did in 2015, will still emerge victorious.
Mallam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Adviser to President Buhari made the disclosure at a press conference with newsmen in Abuja, on Tuesday.
According to Shehu, the vast majority of Nigerians are still happy with President Buhari despite what the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) and other opposition parties may be saying.
Mallam Shehu said the confidence reposed on the President by Nigerians remained unshaken because according to him, President Buhari is doing what they want.
Shehu was joined at the press conference by Mr. Femi Adesina, the special assistant to the President on Media and Mr. Laolu Akande, The SSA media, to the Acting President, Prof.Yemi Osinbajo.
