CEO’s of indicted companies appear before Senate committee, after arrest warrant

Ebun Francis || The chairman of the Senate committee on Customs, Excise, and Tariff, Marine and Transport, Chief Hope Uzodinma on Wednesday said that the CEO’s of the over thirty companies accused of complicity in the frauds amounting to N30tn in the export and import value chain of Nigeria has appeared before his committee.

The committee last Friday issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the Chief Executive Officers of Glo, Flour Mills, and thirty-one other Companies following their refusal to appear before the Senate body.

Uzodinma told newsmen in Abuja that that 33 out of the 64 companies involved appeared before the committee.
