Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chairman of the Dangote Group and Africa’s richest man, has been named recipient of the 2017 Malaria No More Global Leadership Award
The award ceremony was held in New York, United States, and was well attended by global dignitaries committed to fighting malaria.
The event organisers said Dangote is being honoured for his efforts in helping to eradicate the spread of malaria in Africa, specifically Nigeria, through his contributions towards the ‘Saving One Million Lives in Nigeria’ project.
