Dasuki fails to testify in Metuh’s trial, pleads ”memory loss”

Sambo Dasuki, who eventually appeared in court at the resumed hearing of the trial of the former national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh on Wednesday failed to testify as his lawyer pleaded loss of memory on the part of the former NSA.

Ahmed Raji, SAN, Dasui’s counsel informed the court that his client will be unable to testify citing loss of memory.

According to Raji, his client having spent more than two years in jail does not have access to documents, records and materials he requires to refresh his memories on the decisions he may have taken during the period he was NSA.

Raji, therefore, urged the court to ”tarry a while” in the course of the proceeding pending the determination of Dasuki’s case on the issue at the court of Appeal.
