Barely a month after a medical doctor committed suicide in Lagos, another doctor has attempted suicide by ingesting a motley of pills.
The doctor, identified as Olutobi Ajao, had selected about 80 different pills with the intention of ending his own life and posted what seemed like a suicide note on his Facebook page to inform his friends of his intention.
“Finally went through with it. Ingested about 80 tablets of different drugs. If and when I die, please do remember that it was oro that killed me,” he wrote in the Facebook post.
His post, however, alerted his friend who scurried to help him before he could carry out his premeditated act.
