High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the founder, and Chairman of Daar Communications, owners of Ray power radio and ait television has teamed up with Mr. Dan Anyanwu, the former Chairman of Labour Party and other notable politicians to form a new political party, Advance People Democratic Alliance, APDA.
The inauguration of the New Party with the slogan ‘Stronger Together’ took place on Monday at Reitz Hotel Abuja.
The national executive committee of the newly inaugurated party is yet to be formed.
APDA is believed to be a fallback strategy of the Makafi lead faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who are currently locked in legal battle with the Ahmodu Sheriff faction at the supreme court for the soul of the party.
However, Ahmed Makafi has distanced himself from the new party.
