The dreaded Ebola virus has staged a comeback as the World Health Organisation Friday said the disease has already claimed three lives in the Northeast Democratic Republic of Congo.
WHO said the outbreak affects an equatorial forest region in Bas-Uele province, bordering the Central African Republic.
The Last Ebola outbreak in 2014 eventually spread to West and Central Africa. Nigeria recorded its first outbreak of the virus which lead to the death of scores of Nigerians before it was contained by the Federal government through the assistance of The WHO and other agencies.
