#EndSars: Three killed, car mart set ablaze as suspected hoodlums clash with protesters in Abuja

By our reporter| At least two people were killed and a car mart set ablaze when suspected hoodlums attacked #EndSars protesters on Monday evening in Abuja.

According to eyewitness account, the suspected hoodlums attacked the protesters at Apo mechanic village.

The protesters had blocked the road leading to the mechanic village, an action the suspected miscreants objected to.

A Channel Television reporter confirmed that two people were killed during the clash.

Amnesty: Thugs kill three #EndSARS protesters in Abuja

However, Amnesty International has confirmed that three persons were killed during the incident.

The human rights watchdog also said the suspects burnt dozens of cars during the attacks.

Writing via its Twitter handle on Monday, the group said: “Armed thugs that launched coordinated attacks on #EndSARS protesters around Abuja have killed 3 protesters and burnt dozens of cars belonging to the protesters.”
