The family of late gospel singer, Eric Arubayi, whose passed away recently, has issued its first official statement on the passage of the well liked gospel singer.
In a statement signed by Derreck the elder brother of the deceased, the family expressed gratitude to friends and well-wishers who stood by them in their hour of trial.
The statement read, “We are touched by messages of love we have received from all friends and well wishers of the family. We are inspired by his life and have become testaments of his impact around the world. Till we meet to part no more, rest in the bosom of the Lord. We all love you Eric, but God loves you more.”
Eric Arubayi died on February 11 at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife, his two-year-old son, two brothers, a sister and his parents.
