The supreme court on January 14th sacked Emeka Ihedioha as governor of Imo state of the PDP and affirmed Hope Uzodinma of the APC as the duly elected governor of the state.
The judgment which generated a lot of controversies also lead to protests in different parts of the country by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
