Rauf Aregbesola, national secretary of The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rauf Aregbesola has revealed that he has never slept with any other woman since he married his wife, Sherifat.
The immediate past minister of interior made the disclosure while Speaking at a recent ADC rally in Ejigbo LGA, ahead of the state’s gubernatorial election scheduled for this weekend.
Aregbesola said his fidelity was part of a personal test he set for himself, adding that his devotion is solely to God.
The ADC chieftain and former governor of the state, who addressed party faithfuls in Yoruba, noted that his stance is not common among many men, and that he had used it as a basis for a divine request.

“I told God that next June, we must do it at the government house.”
Aregbesola served as Osun State governor from 2010 to 2018 and currently serves as the national secretary of the ADC, which is challenging the ruling party in the forthcoming governorship election.
The Osun governorship election is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026.
