Ebun Francis| The federal government on Tuesday announced that Nigeria’s airspace will reopen for international travel on August 29.
Nigria’s minister of aviation, Hardi Sirika who made the disclosure in a Tweet, said the reopening procedure will mirror that of domestic flights where operations began with the Lagos and Abuja airports.
The tweet read, “Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the 29th of August, 2020. Beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption.
“Protocols and procedures will be announced in due course. We thank you for your patience.”
Nigeria had in April suspended both domestic and international flights as part of the measure to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country
