The kidnapped wife o Nigeria’s central bank Governor Mrs Margaret Emefiele, has been released by her abductors sources close to the family of Mr Emefiele has confirmed. Mrs Emefiele was abducted last Thursday along Benin- Agbor road by heavily armed gunmen who later demanded a ransome of N1.5 bn from the family.
The Asaba- Agbor axis was flooded with security personnel yesterday as the search for her intensified. Details of the circumstances surrounding her release is sketchy at the time of filling this report is sketchy.
