Lai Mohammed: Lagos #EndSARS report riddled with Inconsistencies, errors

The #EndSARS report by the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry was riddled with so many errors and inconsistencies, minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed said on Tuesday.

Mohammed who made the disclosure at a press conference in Abuja, also described the report circulating online as fake.

The minister’s comments come a week after the judicial panel probing allegations of police brutality in Lagos State submitted its findings to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The report indicted security operatives for killing innocent protesters in the Lekki area of Lagos State on October 20, 2020.

But responding to the shooting at the Lekki Toll Gate, the minister said: “We reject the notion that our soldiers and policemen massacred innocent Nigerians at the Lekki Tollgate”.
