Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Tuesday confirmed 1,301 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s toll to 113,305.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control in a Tweet via its verified Twitter handle late on Tuesday night said the new infections were recorded in 22 states and the FCT.
The NCDC further noted that 15 deaths were recorded across the country.
According to the update, Lagos, the epicentre of the outbreak recorded 551 new cases, followed by the FCT-209, Oyo-83, Plateau-65, Kaduna-64, Enugu-61, Rivers-44, Ondo-39, and
Other states with new infections include, Akwa Ibom-31, Kano-19, Delta-18, Gombe-18, Ogun-16, Edo-15, Kebbi-10, Ebonyi-9, Jigawa-4, Osun-3, Zamfara-3, Borno-1, and Nasarawa-1.
The health agency further noted that so far, 91,200 persons have recovered from the disease with 1,464 deaths recorded.
