Chidi Samuel Nigeria on Thursday confirmed 1479 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s toll to 105,478.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control in a statement via a Tweet on its verified Twitter handle said the new infections were recorded in 25 states and the FCT.
According to the update, Lagos recorded 697 new cases, followed by FCT-201, Nasarawa-80, Plateau-74, Rivers-72, Edo-46, Adamawa-43, Osun-39, Akwa Ibom-35, Delta-31, and Anambra-27.
Other states with new infections include, Oyo-24, Kano-21, Abia-19, Enugu-19, Ogun-18, Sokoto-12, Bauchi-7, Taraba-7, Ekiti-4, Gombe-4, Imo-4, Bayelsa-2, Jigawa-2, and Zamfara-1.
The health agency further noted that so far, 83,830 persons have recovered from the disease with 1, 405 deaths recorded.
