Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Monday confirmed 201 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s toll to 73,374.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control in a statement via its verified Twitter handle said the new infections were reported in eleven states and the FCT.
According to the update, Kaduna state recorded 74 new infections, followed by Lagos-53, and Katsina-40.
Other states with new cases include, Rivers-11, Plateau-9, Kwara-6, Bauchi-2, Ogun-2, Taraba-2, Edo-1, and Sokoto-1.
The health agency further revealed that the country has so far discharged 66,314 persons infected by the virus with 1,197 deaths recorded.
