Chidi Samuel| Nigeria has confirmed 246 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s toll to 66,228.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control in a statement on Saturday via its verified Twitter handle said the new infections were reported in eleven states and the FCT.
According to the NCDC, Lagos recorded the highest number of infections-66, followed by Plateau -63.
Other states with new infections include, FCT-48,
Kaduna-21, Bayelsa-19, Rivers-12, Niger-9, Ogun-4,
Ekiti-2, Bauchi-1, and Osun-1.
The health agency further revealed that so far, 61,884 persons have recovered from the disease with 1,166 deaths recorded.
