Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on The Rock Church Lagos has said that Nigeria is dead and asserted that anyone counting wealth strictly in naira is practically poor as the currency fall to N1370 per dollar and inflation at over 30%.
The message by the cleric, posted on Monday morning reflects the wide spread hardship from surging food prices, subsidy cuts and rising insecurity across the country.
Adefarasin, in the run up to the 2023 presidential election campaign supported candidate Tinubu with his ‘Saul analogy’. “After Saul, then David will come”, Adefarasin said then.
The message by the House on the Rock pastor highlights the frustration of the over 133 million Nigerians living in multidimensional poverty and the need for Tinubu’s government to accountable to the people.
