PDP looking for examiners who marked Buhari’s WAEC script in 1961- Keyamo

The Buhari 2019 Presidential Campaign on Monday alleged that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) is hunting for the examiners, who marked President Buhari’s West African Examinations Council scripts in 1961.

The spokesperson for the campaign, Festus Keyamo, SAN, made the allegation in a series of tweets via his verified Twitter handle, @fkeyamo.

Keyamo said, “The dumbest comment I’ve read about the now dead issue of PMB’s WAEC result is to say WAEC forged its own document,” Keyamo said via Twitter.

“Where there’s ONLY ONE body authorized by law to issue a document, it can only make mistakes or clerical errors on it (I don’t concede that here) but cannot forge it.”

Keyamo said, on a lighter note, that the PDP is flying US investigators to Dubai to hunt for the examiners who marked President Buhari scripts back in 1961.

“On a lighter note, we understand the opposition is now hunting for the examiners who marked PMB’s scripts in 1961 to ascertain whether the grades in PMB’s WAEC result tallies with the marks they actually gave him”, he concluded.

The subject of Buhari’s WAEC had been one of the issues, which the opposition had been using to campaign against him in the run-up to the 2019 election.

An attestation of result was presented to Buhari on Friday at the State House, Abuja.

The presentation of the certificate to the President by WAEC, has not, in anyway diminished the controversy surrounding the status of President  Buhari’s WAEC certificate.
