Police arrest 2 suspected kidnappers of Isheri lanlords

The Nigerian Police Force has announced the arrest two suspects in connection with abduction of four landlords of Oshorun Heritage Estate, in Isheri North area of Lagos about two weeks ago.

The arrests were made by the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team ,IRT, on Tuesday at Ore, a town in Ondo State, South West Nigeria.

It would be recalled that the kidnappers demanded the payment of  N300m ransom each for the release of the victims. Even though relatives of the victims claimed that no ransom was paid before their release, one of the arrested suspects confessed that he received one million ,two hundred naira only out of the twelve million naira ransom that was paid for the release of the victims.
