A policeman in Lagos has shot a woman to death in Lagos while chasing a suspected criminal.
The killing, which happened on Tuesday in Mushin, was as a result of a stray bullet hitting the woman as the police attempted to shoot at a boy in the area suspected to be an internet scam artist commonly referred to as ‘yahoo boy’.
A twitter user with the handle @naijapasito tweeted that the woman killed was his mom and that her killing occurred when the police shot at her accidentally while chasing the suspected internet fraudster.
A policeman allegedly shot and killed a woman on Tuesday evening in the Onipanu toll gate area, Mushin, Lagos.
The twitter user called on the Governor of Lagos State in the tweet to invade into the matter.
