Reuben Abati granted bail by EFCC

Detained journalist and former special Adviser to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Reuben Abati has been released on bail by The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. The Guardian Newspaper columnist is expected to drop his international passport and also produce a surety of not below level sixteen in the civil service as part of his bail condition.

Dr Abati was  taken into custody on  Monday by the EFCC on allegations that he received illicit funding from the office of col Sambo Dasuki, the former National Security Adviser.
