Security operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Wednesday evening, raided a home believed owned by Mrs Patience Jonathan, the wife of Former President Goodluck Jonathan located at Igbeti Street, Maitama, Abuja .
The operatives numbering about 20 came in two Hilux vans and a Toyota Hiace bus, forced their way into the building at about 5pm and went away with some items after searching all the rooms.
One of the private security details guarding the property who witnessed the raid confirmed the incident. According to him, ” The operatives of the Nigeria police force raided the home at about 5pm”.
”They didn’t speak to us concerning their mission or the contents of the envelope they went away with.”
The spokespersons for the headquarters and Abuja command of the police said they were not aware of the operation.
