The scandal rocking Apostle Johnson Suleman and his Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide has taken a new dimension as Stephanie Otobo, the alleged mistress of the pastor, has publicized evidence detailing money transfers from the pastor.
On Saturday April 8, 2017, SaharaReporters published documents showing that Apostle Suleman made several direct deposits into Miss Otobo’s account to the tune of N2 million, all between June 1 and December 31, 2015.
The pastor, however, appeared to change the mode of paying into Ms. Otobo’s account by November 2015, using third parties as proxies instead. On November 4, 2015, a depositor identified as Adewunmi TO made a web-based deposit into Miss Otobo’s account.
By the end of 2015, another person, identified as Gbenga Adegbadebo, deposited the sum of N340,000 on November 10, N238,000 on November 24, and N170,000 on December 10. Miss Otobo also said that Mr. Adegbadebo, a Nigerian based in Canada, was used as a means for transferring foreign currencies to her in Canada.
In her latest revelation, Miss Otobo also said that she conducted an HIV test in October 2016 when she got pregnant for the apostle while in Canada to prove that she was HIV-free. The result of the test was also published on SaharaReporters.
Miss Otobo said that Apostle Suleman has recently been harassing his mother, by coercing her and her siblings to appear in his church to apologize publicly in front of the congregation, while recruiting internet trolls to harass her (Stephanie) on the internet.
