Troops of the Joint Task Force, North East Operation HADIN KAI under Operation DESERT SANITY, have rescued kidnapped victims, eliminated terrorists, and arrested suspected terrorist collaborators across the theatre.
In a statement, the Media information officer Operation Hadin Kai Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba says, during clearance operation along the Mandara Mountains axis, acting on credible intelligence, troops conducted operation at suspected terrorist crossing point along the Amuda–Gava, successfully rescued six abducted women and children, residents of Ngoshe community, held captive by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists
A total of Sixty women and children have so far been rescued after the attack on Ngoshe community on 3 March ,2026.
The statement further adds that, troops eliminated terrorists in Konduga Local Government Area and arrested suspected terrorist collaborators in Konduga and Yobe State axes while operations at Bazamri village, Konduga LGA, resulted in the elimination of two Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists.
