Trump to ‘leave business’ to focus on presidency

Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States of America, Wednesday announced he will leave his business empire to focus on the presidency and avoid perceived conflicts of interest. In a tweet sent out from his twitter handle @realDonaldTrump, the President-elect gave away few details of his plans but stated that he will explain in a scheduled press conference on the 15th of December in New York city with his children.

Mr Trumps critics and concerned Americans have in the past raised concerns about a potential conflict of interest between his business and the Presidency, a situation he has always dismissed.

Meanwhile, The President-elect, has tapped former Goldman Sachs executive Steven Mnuchin  to be the Treasury secretary while billionaire investor Wilbur Ross had been chosen for commerce secretary.
