Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote group has said that he will fire Arsenal’s long serving manager Arsene Wenger if and when he acquires the club.
Dangote in an interview with Bloomberg stated in an interview with Bloomberg that his desire to acquire on the British finest football clubs date backs to over two decades.
The billionaire business man noted that he would consider making an offer once the construction of his $11 billion oil refinery in Lagos is completed. Stan Kroenke, the American businessman is Arsenal’s biggest shareholder, controlling 67 percent of the company.

Dangote believes he can persuade them to sell.
He said,“The first thing I would change is the coach. He has done a good job, but someone else should also try his luck.
“If they get the right offer, I’m sure they would walk away. Someone will give them an offer that will make them seriously consider walking away. And when we finish the refinery, I think we will be in a position to do that.”
This will not be the first time Aliko Dangote will express interest in the purchase of the English Premier League Club.
His desire to do away with the services of Wenger will surely resonate with the vast majority of Arsenal fans who have spent most of part of the last two seasons calling for the removal of the longest serving Arsenal manager.
